Photo from a walk not in the mountains, but much closer to the city. Even there, the low amount of snow can be nice.
Paths between fields have its charm as well, even if the wind blows snow on them and makes the walk a bit less comfortable. When a bit of misty veil adds up to it, it starts having even more charm, for those willing to see it there.

I love snowscapes, this is very nice!
It seems the slightest bit out of focus, (though i'm sure i probably need glasses lol) but there is a nice contrast with the rough terrain on the left and the smooth snow mound to the right. It does seem to be a little fuzzy though, which tends to happen with snowy photos. I suggest loading it into Photoshop and throw a high pass filter on it (soft or hard light blending option with a duplicated layer) and it tends to remove the fuzziness, bringing everything into an even sharper focus.
I love how it fades the farther out the background goes, adding a feel like a snowstorm is about to occur.
